cousins

Trey got to play with a cousin from out of town, Cooper, and his cousins in town, Parker and Drew, all last weekend. All the kids had a blast playing together as well as us parents enjoying the visit too. We're so glad we got to see you guys, Mason, Jessica, and Cooper, and hope the next time we see eachother again is soon!

and so it begins

"The Season" has officially begun. The holiday season you ask?? NO! But of course, it's the Rebel's basketball season! Jordan is in full swing on the rebel blog. If you haven't checked it out by now, and you love the Rebels, then you're crazy! Jordan does an awesome job recapping all the games and giving us all the inside scoop. Here's to an awesome season...
GO REBS!

bike ride

A week ago, Jordan was going to take Trey on a bike ride. I asked him if he would go to the store for me too. He combined the two and had a blast with Trey. We live pretty close to a Smith's, so it was a great chance to save on some gas money. Thanks Jordan, for doing the shopping, and for getting Trey out of the house for awhile!

halloweens

Halloween is crazy these days. Growing up, we had Nevada Day off of school which also happens to be Halloween. On that day, we carved pumpkins, got our costumes ready, and went trick-or-treating. We did it all in one day, and that was it! I don't even remember wearing my costume to school. Now, Halloween festivities seem to go on for weeks. Last Wednesday I had our ward play group over for a Halloween party. Thursday night was our ward Halloween party with Trick-or-Treating from door to door in the building. (It was a fun alternative to a Trunk-or-Treat). Then, Trey, Talya and I went to my friend Donna's house for another kids' Halloween party on Friday morning. And finally, we went Trick-or-Treating in Spanish Trail, where Jordan's parents live. (Just about every house you go to hands out full size candy bars. Fun to get, but not so fun to weigh yourself a few days later!!) So, fun was had many times and Trey was able to wear his costume many times and celebrate the holiday many times. Kids are sure spoiled these days!!

Trey was a rocker, Talya was a fish.

Trey, kissing his candy.

Trey was much more interesting in dipping his M&M's in the frosting
and eating them instead of decorating his haunted house.

Dumping his "loot" to see what he got.
